Why Scholarships for Seminarians in the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA?

The Knights of Columbus has established a scholarship program to help fund the education of seminarians preparing to become Catholic chaplains in the U.S. armed forces. Many of these seminarians have served in the U.S. military. There are more than 250,000 Catholics between the ages of 18 and 29 on active duty. These military members chose a vocation that demands sacrifice, self-discipline, obedience, and valor, all important virtues for the priesthood or religious life. The scholarship program is named for Father McGivney, the founder of the Knights of Columbus, the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization. Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus seek to embody the Order’s core principle of patriotism and exemplify true Catholic citizenship.

When should I get to my seat?

Get to your seats early (1:10pm) in order to catch the National Anthem performed by KofC Assembly 3313's SK Bryan Lewis. Bryan has sung the National Anthem for the Braves each year since 2009. Check out the 2022 live performance here.

Where do I park?
